dave would you mind to spare some more details of the region, practice you would like to learn about?first hint: cap is very diverse by country/region, and life can be very different depending on the practice you are working in.overall a good employer, at least in the areas I have visibility of. Work culture is very balanced, weekends are free and nightshifts rare. collegues are not best of breed sometimes unfortunately.

I worked at Cap recently in consulting servicesUPs- great place to work if based around wardour street. Good training and development for CDC consultant and senior consultantDowns - the recruitment process is a joke, they have a large number managing and executive consultants who don't cut the mustard. The best managers are ex- E&Y who haven't been poached back or to Deliottes. The recent headcutting has resulted in a large number of their real talent leaving.

Agree with last post (I am one of the recent "defectors"). Nothing wrong with people at Cap (very friendly) but many are just about "average" consultants. On the plus side, Cap, alongside PA, is still one of the few places where you can have a life. Not the ideal place if you're interested in a successful career in Management Consulting.Overall, I would only recommend Cap to techies in the early stages of their careers interested in experiences in Public Sector.
