usually accenture gives you credits for 50% of your experience only. So, with 7 years, acn would see 3,5 years of experience which makes you a C2, maybe a C3. if you can make your case you might manage to get a c3 offer, making you eligible for promotion next september, or an M1 offer. the difference between these two levels could not be bigger in my eyes, therefore you need to push hard for an M1 position proving that your experience is relevant in the ACN world (leadership, management skills).i cannot tell you anything about pay as it differs significantly, but in the strat practice i would expect a fair deal for both sides.
