Hi.My head is spinning around after all to much thinking so ill just post here and hope for help :)Im trying to find out what people working at ACN-security solutions really do. I have talked to some people there on the phone but i still dont feel that i get the whole picture.What I am looking for is a position where I would be working with information security on a strategic/management/policy/process/CISO - level and NOT sit and configure security software or hardware.From people I have talked with I have gotten different images of what to expect if I would join ACN-security solutions. How techie are u forced to be at Accenture?Should i believe the info on the website (Which seems to suggest that it will be possible to work at the level I want) or not? I am from the said group.It is very rare that you would be doing very low level tech roles - its usually design and above, depending on your level.With consulting you need to focus on the longer term of a number of projects rather than one bad cookie of a project, which in your case would be configuring some software.What level are you considering joing at?

Thx for reply :)I have 4 years of experience as consultant and adequate education so im guessing i would be able to apply for any of the c1-c3 levels?.Any examples of what one might do at that level?

common one is putting together a design with the assistance of (managing) an analyst or 2. With your exp i would expect a consultant, but you could come in at an A2 if its not 2 years of security experience.other common assignments are assessments of an organisations security to their policies/standards or external standards, e.g. ISO27001.you should definitely expect to work closely with the security heads of organisations - there is a lot of exposure.
