Hi does anyone know the starting salary for a role as a business analyst at SMT. I have got an interview with them and would like to know without directly asking them. Does anyone know or has applied for the job in the past or present and does know.cheersdale

£22K??!!! You can get more than that as a checkout operator at Aldi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!£22K... is that really what you studied for 16 odd years for??!

was £24.5k when I started 1.5 yrs ago and tends to go up 2k per 6 months if you get the promotions, which are very achievable if you work hard and do a good job. Bit of a jump at consultant level (circa 2.5-3 years) to circa £35-7k. It is low verses others in industry but cost of living in oxford is much lower and can live in centre so no travel costs. So basically fair standard of living but no bragging rights in the pub on pay day!Hope it helps
