Hi all,I am currently a fresh grad with a phd in chemistry. I am really interested of getting a job with management consulting firms. Owing to I am a fresh grad is actually quite hard for me to break in without any good networking as well as job experiences. Currently I am searching for small boutique firm and I am thinking of doing some temping. So any advice on getting into this field of career will be much much appreciated. Thank you.

Congrats on your graduation. A lot of firms will be reopening their grad schemes in a couple of months, so you might as well wait for that. Either take a holiday or gen up on business issues over the summer. Work experience is v.rare, especially with niche firms.
