are you taking the p**s to see if anyone will respond? look at the header image on the home page on this site and you'll see a careers fair advertised.

Any ideas for these events that allow gradautes in? All the events advertised on this forum seem to be for experienced hires etc.

There is a peculiar device on my desk, covered in numbered buttons. What happens if I type in this random looking code I found on a consultancy website I wonder? Hang on, there is a ringing tone in my ear. Must remember to see a doctor about that. Hang on (again) - someone is talking to me! Where has that voice come from? Graduate events? Why yes - are you attending any to attract grads I ask? Why yes we are! Details please. Thank you, look forward to seeing you there. What a coincidence!

If you are looking for experienced hire roles then you would go to our Consultancy Careers Fair (<a href=http://www.theconsultancycareersfair.com target=_blank>http://www.theconsultancycareersfair.com</a>)If it is Milkround / fresh graduate roles you are looking for then there&apos;s a fair that runs in Islington around the same time as ours each year - purely for new graduates. Usually there are a number of consulting firm employers amongst the lineup, though not sure if the lineup is yet finalised for this year. aDetails at:<a href=http://www.londongradfair.co.uk/ target=_blank>http://www.londongradfair.co.uk/</a>Good luck with starting your career in consulting!Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com

I completely understand this query - it is often difficult to find Management Consultancy events for graduates - well, unless you&apos;re from Oxbridge and then you get tailored events from the Top MCs coming to you. Loads of grads find it hard to meet acutal recruiters from MCs. Tony&apos;s one looks like a good one to go by, otherwise see if your uni has anything lined up with milkround but you are very likely to find it limiting.PS As Im sure you&apos;ve seen yourself google (using oh wait..your mouse?...could never think of that) searches wont yield much as the events are few and far between as Im sure you&apos;ve discovered. Good luck though

I had the same problem last year - the top firms McKinsey, BCG etc dont seem to do them. look at Inside Careers website where there is a list of events. Accenture, Mercer, Deloitte, PWC Strategy are good at doing these events - you&apos;ll be pushed to find a collective event where lots of these companies come together though (dont know about Oxbridge!). Things are a LOT easier when an experienced hire - just keep using this place to be regularly updated on events.

Agree with previous posts - very limited gradaute events of limited quality. The standard ones such as Earls Court fair and the Islington one have limited consultancy firms at them - you get organisaitons such as Royal Navy, Asda, Cancer research, Rent a Car etc etc at them rather than mcKinsey or Bain and Co etc. Searching doesnt lead to much as the events dont exist

This makes perfect sense. The main reason that we don&apos;t run a separate fair specifically targeted at Graduate recruitment is because our clients tell us they already visit all the university campuses that they are interested in recruiting from.A handful of the biggest firms have such massive recruitment targets that they will have a presence at most graduate fairs, in the hope of meeting a few good candidates they didn&apos;t meet on their University roadshow. But for your elite firms like McKinsey or Bain - and for all the niche firms - there just isn&apos;t any need for them to do anything to drum up more graduate applications than they already receive...Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com
