Hello,I want to find out more about KPMG IT advisory since I have an interview with them coming up. I have read through the entire IT advisory section on the KPMG website and the careers section but it seems quite generic and doesn't have specific information regarding their current clients and projects.I just want to be able to demonstrate that I have done some good research when they ask me what I know about the company.... Can anyone recommed some good alternative resources? Thanks

Mate, have you been to many assessment centres/interviews? Give me a mail on alfredbragton@googlemail.com and I'll discuss with you how mine went (not KPMG though, but big4) and we can compare strategies.

I went through the whole process:1st interview - ask about your motivations, competancy Qs, current business issues, about KPMG, why this role. No surprises at all - what you'd expect in any other interview at big4.Assessment: E-tray exercise, group discussion, partner interview, prepared presentation on a company of your choice.Use the ft website search function to find recent news abour KPMG (and any other company for that matter).Good Luck!

I have just completed the KPMG IT Advisory Assessment Centre for their Performance and Strategy group.First stage - basic competency/HR interviewFinal stage - all day assessment centre consisting of group exercise, technical interview, HR interview and pre-prepared presentationNothing to difficult, although I always find it difficult if you have an idiot in your group exercise who wants to take control of everything and not willing to listen!Seems like a great place to work, but probably not as highly paid or as prestigious as the other companies in their market space. Not sure what the exact salary package is going to be but expect in the 60-70k base for the 'Executive Advisor - Grade C' roles and something around the 75-90k for the more Senior roles.Cheers!

Dependes what grade you go in at. Go in at grad level and you will be doing audit work.
