Hedgies manage funds in billions $ for a over >10% return pa. When we deliver as promise, happy clients pay a small %. In short, we are held accountable. How are value and skill define for elite management consultant? Talk about some BS strategy that cannot be implemented and still bill at 1000/hr?Success? Unless you've managed to spend it all and save none, why on earth would you want to work for an MBBB etc? Why not retire, or do something interesting?And you don't seem to rate MBBB or MC in general particularly highly - so, again, why? If you've been earning at anything like that level for a handful of years, you will presumably have tens of millions of dollars in wealth. Can you think of nothing better to do with your time than poke fun at a management consulting forum, whilst asking for advice? What about some charitable work, starting your own MC, travelling the globe?

BTW, you probably don't know the wording differences between numbers of this magnitude anyway.And Bemused, this is a laughable example of a higher breed of elite arsehole laughing at the lower one. For this case, MBBB or MCs are obviously at the lower end. Face it, most MBBB MCs will be very 'full' of themselves when comparing with other occupations or talking to graduates 'desparately' wanting to join until they (MCs) meet the bankers - a turn of tables for the MBBB to talk about charity, values and quality of life. HA!
