why would anyone want to work in consulting if you can go into banking? and if you are mbbb material you should be good enough at least for middle office. salaries are so much higher and rewards are uncapped. I am on my way to Macquarie in private equity - doing an internship in the ideas factor at the moment. you?

Pear - this is wonderful. Without realising it you've managed to answer your own question within just a few lines of forum posting. The perfect example of why most of us here would shudder at the thought of moving into banking!B.O.

Pear: It's the handle that amuses me even more than the ranting.Look at the shape of it all. Suggests a narrow mind (proven), narrow shoulders and a fat ar$e (highly likely).Macquarie. If you're happy working for Aussies, then more power to ya.And as for Why Consulting, can't say I've heard of them. Are they a new firm, or another of your typos?

This is a very, very silly thread. (And yes, I can see the irony in my perpetuating it)
