I recently attended the final round for an entry-level position with PWC Strategy. For those who have been through this as well: how long did it take them to get back to you, and how did they contact you (eg. phone, email, snailmail) ?

I'm appalled that having thought you worthy of a place in their final round interview process, PwC didn't simply tell you what the next steps in the process would be. That way you'd leave feeling they were a thoroughly professional organisation that you'd like to work for. This way you've left the interviews and all your warmth for them is being eroded by the anxiety they've caused.Any recruiters reading this - learn from PwC's mistake. This is no way to treat one of the better candidates you've had apply to your firm!Shocking.Mike

Well, graduate's message did not say he wasnt informed about the next step in the process. PWC could simply have said "will get back to you in due course" and graduate just wants to hav a better idea by asking on this forum.

Anon is quite right here - I was informed that I would hear back within 5 working days, and that sometimes it takes that length of time to gather all interviewers' information together and come to a decision. They also told me that sometimes they add in a time-delay, to atleast give the impression that your application has been well-considered before being rejected (or perhaps accepted)...So yes, I am perhaps a little impatient, but only because I'm eager to find out how I got on ;)Can anyone, who's been through the process before, share their experiences?

It'll probably be by email if rejection and phonecall if offer. That has been my experience of many graduate roles in the Big 4 and others.

It's usually at the end of the 2nd interview period. So depending on when your interview was in that stretch of time, you should find out a day or 2 after the final interview day. If you're at final round, you should receive a phone-call. Wish you well mate
