Hi, Im about to start at ACN Strategy - does anyone know the salary breakdown from graduate analyst to partner and the years it roughly takes to reach these main milestones? Know of course there are many sub promotional levels but if anyone know the main ones and could quickly outline them that'd be great. I've guessed the below but what you read tends to vary. Analyst = £28.5 + 10K sign on Consultant (2 years in) = £36 - 40Manager (5 year in) = £50?Senior Exec Partner (100K- 120K?)

pretty much the range indicated in earlier messages. just that manager onwards you start getting some generous car allowance as well as bonus kicks in. time range is pretty much what you wrote yourself! levels typically go as A1, A2 => C1,C2,C3 => M1, M2, M3 => SM1, SM2, SM3 => SE1, SE2, SE3, SE4. So assuming normal growth curve, one can expect to be a partner (Starting level SE1) in about 11 years with all ifs and buts....hope it helps.

salaries, the worst kept secret in consulting haha. Are these basic figures? What sort of bonus would one expect? Also, are these fairly standard figures one would expect at the big 4 and other similar firms or could you leave Acn at some point for more money in another firm?

Partners (Senior Execs as they are now called) at Accenture can range from £120k - £400k. Depends on sales and scope of activities. There are 15 levels of Partner at Accenture.

Does anyone know if this breakdown applies across the board in ACN - ie do Strategy and BSI/Operations employees get paid the same as they go up the ladder? As Strategy is more competitive relatively, is this reflected in pay as you go up?

Acn Strats

On my experience the first is a little low, the second a little high. There have been lots of one-off strats pay rises to hang on to particular high performers, and strats pay accelerates quicker past manager than others. Rumours of a decent salary boost for strats folk in the pipeline in October - MBBB are currently pinching tons of good people (which, I suppose, speaks for the quality of the Acn strats group ....) - we are all getting an absurd amount of headhunter calls right now.

Strats i'm currently in BSI (analyst) there. Is it quite easy to move to Strat? I've got really interested in that area since joining my current project & friends there enjoy it but wasn't sure if there's a definitive line between in strat and those who aren't and this line can't be crossed.

Does anyone know the up-to-date figures for these milestones now the October changes have applied? Grad starting salary has gone up to £31 k .....are all the other stages simply up by the same rate more or less?

this is the big ironystarting salary has increased...sadly those above have not been shiftly proportionately.Hence 1/2 yrs experience could be eclipsed by a new joiner...

That is not actually true, I found that everybody's salary was increased substantially last 'tell day' just before (or roughly around the same time) as the graduate salary increased.
