Hi! I'd like to get my employer to reduce the firm's carbon footprint! We travel far too much when a simple videoconference would do the trick. Sometimes I'm not convinced there's even a need to travel at all! What suggestions can I make to encourage my big polluter of an employer to reduce its carbon footprint?

Ban car sales to india and china?Up here in Scotland we love carbon as it gives us fantastic summers, before global warming people would flock to Scotland if their holiday in iceland had been cancelled. Now its sunny and hits 30C in the summer. To assist this 'global image' of scotland me and a few of my mates have whole sundays when we burn petrol and toss badger carcasses and foxes into pires.Carbon footprint in the UK = TAX (Nothing more)If it was a problem it would be india nd china first, sod carbon.Oh and for company car drivers a we hint! Its going to get worse, so take the cash and buy your own 4x4 8ltr beast, dont go via company car ripoff schemes.

Truth be known, I'm just jumping on the bandwagon to suit my personal objectives. We all know the carbon footprint thing is a load of rubbish, just like Health & Safety obsession was in the 1980s. However, eventually the "think of the chillddruuuunn" brigade always get their way, so I figure why not try and cash in on it this time around?
