A Spreadbetter

Spreadbetting - Start learning and research the markets and never risk more than you can afford to loose. This is trickier than it seems cos the amount you risk cannot always be calculated in advance.

Like I said spreadbetting. No need for the lamp. Leave that for Amsterdam ;-) You could be the webmaster for a local charity, youth club or private company. These usually require a few hours a week to update the site and that is about it. Else do something with students or children e.g. Baby sitting, tutoring etc.

private tutoring, dog and cat sitting, fluffing, independent consulting to small business or you could do nights on one of those phone lines for dirty old men

Fluffing ? Are you sure? Spread betting is none too shabby an idea but you will require a bit of a scooby about whatever market you chose. Contracts for difference is very similar but you can also get badly burnt....which is a shame!

How about selling your bottom while on assignments? Strange town, unlikely to get recognised, time on your hands, meet new people. The hourly rate is better than consulting...or so they tell me... and metaphorically you do it already.
