I am considering moving from industry inot SC consulting and wondering who would be the best to approach with my CV.I have noted that all of the consultancies seem to have SC practices (ACN, CG, IBM etc.) and many seem to show a desire to move into this space (e.g. BT)I would rather work for an established company in SC and both KPMG and Deloitte look good. Any free advice would be useful.

You could try Manhattan Associates - however you'll be working with their own bespoke systems (PKMS i think???). Otherwise Kurt Salmon Associates is also a good option...

Depends on what area of Supply Chain consulting you want to enter. Do you want to go into the technical side, business side or a mixture. It's a strategic industry which is growing (has been for a years) so it's no suprise that all the major/new players are getting more involved in this area and the explosion of technology has created new ways of solving problems in this area. The usual suspects are good but there are also some hidden gems out there. Use the net... one things for sure you would be challenged like crazy and it's great!!

Accenture is the leader in that domain – I also know for a fact they have the biggest team, offer and they are recruiting!
