I am an intern at a big4 firm, currently performing audit-related work. How do consultants perceive accountants? Would it make sense (or add value) to earn an Accounting designation if I want to do strategy & ops consulting with MBBB or ACN/Deloitte later on in my career? I heard that accountants seem to only think one way, so consulting firms don't usually like that kind of thinkers - any comments?
