Dear users,Fee weeks ago my friend had an First Round Selection Day in London for a graduate Security Solutions Architect. He said that there were 10 people. First they divided them in two group of five and they started group exercises. When first group had a first exercise another group had a second one and then they switched them. Between exercises they had a confirmation of the on-line test.Soon he will have an Final Assessment Centre. Do you know any information about the Final Assessment Centre in IBM? I know that there is one group exercise, two interviews(one with a foundation manager and the second one with a business manager) and also presentation. Probably this assessment centre looks the same for all candidates(the same presentation, group exercise etc.). Could you write some info about it? Even small details will be very useful. If you do not feel comfortable to put such information on this forum, just e-mail on anonymmailuser@gmail.comThanks,Peter

So many things strike me as odd on this post:1. Is this a 'friend' as per when we were teenagers talking about boy/girlfriend issues?2. Why isn't your friend doing his own research? Asking HR?3. Why would anyone feel more comfortable sending an email rather than leaving a note on a completely (I think) anonymous board...Finally you seem to have quite alot of info yourself: "there is one group exercise, two interviews (one with a foundation manager and the second one with a business manager) and also presentation". Which seems about right. Suggest you share this info with your mate...

Thank mate for your curious comments. To your 1 answer I really do not know what to say. This comment is really odd for me :).To your 2 answer, it looks for me that you have never taken part in such recruiting process, otherwise you would know that HR will not tell much more than I put on put. And as you probably know the role of this forum is to find out the info that you should not broadcast. To your 3 answer you would be surprise how many people prefer to send an answer direct to your e-mail, rather than put a post on the forum. You have not contributed to this discussion to much, but anyway thanks for your 'thoughts'.Cheers.

Peter - a tip for your Assessment Centre: beware of the questions/comment which will put your back up and/or reveal the attitudes that lurk beneath...

Peter,The quality of people that work at IBM BCS is very very poor. Most of the good quality PwC people have left a long time ago. What are left are a demoralised, disorganised bunch.I’d suggest you look at joining a decent consultancy rather than this front for IT salesTim

Hi Tim,I think you are right. As we can seen on this forum IBM is not the best as far as consultancy goes. But as inexperienced(just 9 months in small companies) it is hard to find a decent employs. So getting a job in IBM as a graduate will be a good foundation for my future grown.cheers
