1) Hitachi Ltd established 1910. Markets a broad range of electronics, computers systems and products, IT Services etcThey basically made a branch of their business a consulting division and are now marketing those skills to the business world (having used those skills within Hitachi LTD) - Hitachi Consulting. THERE's more...but you get the idea!2)http://www.hitachiconsulting.com/page.cfm?ID=clients3) Multinational parent.....UK office headed by ex Anderson's....let's just say it would be similar to the latter or what you'd expect in the big 4.All above from the web.

As the other post Hitachi Consulting are the consulting arm of Hitachi...it was formed in the US originally by taking over a sections of old Anderson Consulting's operationsThey started in the UK last year (and in other parts of Europe) with good capital backing from the parent..main focus is Insurance and Public Sector..Insurance is headed by a guy who used to run EY's insurance divisionI was offered a position with an excellent package but for I ended up accepting another offer...Acquisitions is a part of their growth strategy (and they seem to have the capital to do it)..they have recently bought Impact PlusWorth a look if you want to join a mid sized firm..

I'd agree with the assessment that the business is likely to have an Andersen flavour to it, given the heritage. But like any business that is growing and evolving quickly, this will doubtless change in the coming year or two. For info, Mick James did an interview with the top brass there only a few weeks back - article link FYI.Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com
