Well information on: 1 - working culture? leadership what there like etc. Strong intellectual culture (quite a few PhDs), like to take 'difficult problems', mostly with a technology, but some business, focus. Leadership comes from the technology/PhD heritage, so very bright, and getting the results (see Annual Reports), but not necessarily 'people people'... Q Can consultancy be reduced to a spreadsheet??2 - Promotions/career progression Good, on paper, given the strong growth - but you would need to survive the 'hard bounce', deliver (with limited supervision), and fit the culture - and accept that outsiders who bring clients with them might step in ahead of you.3 - Project types, i know they have global finance team (but what kind of projects and what do entry-level consultants do??!) Financial Servies, esp Capital Markets, stems from recent acquisitions (see MA Partners); the IP is good - it comes from the much larger National Security/Government (+TMT) heritage, but FS markets (ie US and Europe) are nascent.4 - Salary is mentioned but is there bonus? what are the pay rises like Top quartile (for segment), bonus depends on grade/performance but is ok, pay rises are designed to retain without breaking the business model. Hard to be specific, but at the junior levels salaries are well publishes (Vault) or avaialble from HR.5 - how is Detica viewed in the consulting world? Strong reputation (little/nothing negative) in a niche market - Information Intelligence - the high value end of BI/MI and associated work products. It will be interesting to see how this reputation survives against larger/more established consultancies as Detica increasingly takes them on. The atmosphere is friendly/collegiate, but business focused. The numbers speak for themselves (54% growth this year, doble figures (20s/30s) last 10 years.and anything else you think is important :) Depends what you want and where/if you would fit in; 'horses for courses' I suppose.Hope this helps.thanks!
