For as long as I can remember, I have had a strong feeling that I am destined for great things in my life. My friends and especially my family have always told me that I’m destined for greatness – ultimately for high office.I have embarked upon my business career and have reached a stage where I require your counsel. Regrettably, despite the calibre of people working in academia and in this industry, very few people actually recognise my calibre. I achieved BBA at A Level (Should have been AAA – my handwriting style in unique and aesthetically impressive, but was not appreciated by the cretins who marked my papers). I achieved a 2:1 from Exeter (should have been an Oxbridge 1st but once again an entity (the admissions folk) failed to pick up upon my innate brilliance). I have just completed the first 18 months of my career at IBM and am ready to shed my skin and launch myself into the top tier. This is where you come in. I belong in Mck. They know it (deep down) and I feel it. I need you to provide the roadmap. How do I manage the transition? How do I convince them that my maverick genius is exactly what is missing in their organisation and to their clients. I appreciate your help. Look at it as an investment. One day you’ll be begging me for work and (later) patronage.
