Just received an offer from Atos. Slary is good and they won top award in MCA this year. However can anyone provide more information on FS area and work/life balance?

important to distinguish between Atos consulting and Atos origin. Atos consulting is not Atos origin but is a part of atos origin. Atos origin is like Accenture and very popular in Europe on providing IT solutions. However Atos Consulting is strategy consulting and in Financial Services area there is long hours and hard work however they do take care of their employees. Been there 4 months now and steepest learning curve ever and they expect you to work hard and long hours, I guess that is why salary is good. And it really comes down to contracts that they have. They are very busy just now and so yes have to put in alot of hours, but worth it considering the ppl you are working with and the type of projects

top firm to work for. left six months ago to work for another top firm but exposure I got on projects and working with seniors was great. FS at Atos will be strategy and from my time there good work life balance, although it is important to choose or have an influence on being given the right projects. The quicker you can get more responsibility the quicker you move up the ladderjust watch out for the older heads there, can be patronising but very knowledgable. never suck up to them though and always stand ur ground!

if u want a life - don't go there!agree they are specialists in FS strategy but crazy hours. small team and alot of competition so spotlight is always on u to perform, and even if u are performing they want to squeeze out moreleaving soon to retreat back to industry and if was u would think twiceJ
