I doubt you are going to get many responses with a question like that... It's just far FAR too general. In short I would say none of them.Long answer: depends on what you mean by best.

EU,I would have to agree with Anon. I used to work for EY in Eastern Europe, where KPMG was viewed as the last of the Big 4. Generally, based on my research of the Big 4, I think the ranking is the following: PWC, EY, Deloitte, and KPMG. However, it is important to reasearch them based on particular industries and the markets they are in. PWC may be leading in one country or region, but then Deloitte or KPMG may be the leader in another country. Check out Hoovers database, draw a strategic map of these companies, see which one has what you are looking for.Best,Olga

Also, are you talking in terms of audit, corporate finance, consulting (maybe, as you're on a consulting site!)..OR, do you mean which is the best to work FOR? That is something that people could respond to i guess..but the other 2 posts are correct, it is a pretty vague question.

Biggest by......number of organisations audited?...market capitalisation of organisations audited?...turnover of organisations audited?...number of staff employed?...number of professional staff employed?...number of partners?...number of offices?...number of countries present in?...number of member firms?Best to work for in terms of......pay?...work-life balance?...career development?...friendliness?...meritocracy?The answer to the question of which firm is best to work for is dependent on level you joining the firm at - the experience for fresh grads and externally-hired partners can be quite different. It is also dependent on country/region you are looking at - remember that members of the firm network are legally separate companies with different histories and different cultures.
