Hi Guys,does anyone know of KPMG's salary band? and is it negotiable....Does this has anything to do with your age aswell.I am 34 but evey one guesses between 22 and 25 ( male and female). is this an advantage or disadvantagecheers

Salary band for what level of hire?Age has a lot less effect than career grade and current/previous salary in determining your offer.As you go up the career ladder, you have more power to negotiate. For example, at grad level there is no negotiation. At principal level, there is massive variation.

KPMG have a reputation as poor paymasters. One of their biggest problems in recruiting staff are low starting salaries.Also, you need to be aware that bonuses are capped at low levels too.

True - they do pay poorly. Although they sometimes bring you in at a grade far greater than your capability as a device to meet salary expectations -e.g. hiring an assistant manager as a manager.Bonuses are not great either

I'd love to be let loose on that place. I could save them a mint.The first step would be to cut back on the HR and marketing budgets. I bet this alone could afford everyone a pretty substantial pay rise.
