I have a first round interview as an experienced hire for KPMGs IT Advisory coming up shortly. This will consist of a HR interview and an interview with some senior managers. Please can anyone give me any tips as to what to expect and how to prepare?Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello all,Hate to put up a negative post but just a word of warning...Im hearing lots of negative things about the Advisory side at the moment. One insider told me she felt they were hiring as they expect to lose a fair few numbers soon. Most on the inside are looking to leave or think they will be forced to leave sooner rather than later.Just thought you guys should be aware and perhaps probe into the projects etc to make sure there are ones coming through.

Perhaps I'm missing the point but if there are no new projects for people to work on and people are leaving, why would they be driving to recruit more?

...mmm.... perhaps because they expect attrition and to prepare for it in advance? ...I once worked for a firm who recruited on this basis. Doesnt make sense to be but then business decisions are made by real people and people make mistakes.
