Hi MilanWell done on getting so far. The partner interview is really about personality fit.Do you have the right understanding of what is expected from you? What are your interpersonal skills like?Essentially the partner is testing if they would be comfortable to put you in front of client staff.Best of luck ! Let us know how you get on.I've been with PA for 3 years now, and absolutely love it. You won't regret joining usCheggers

Thanks for your reply Cheggers, PA seems to have a good reputation.Just a couple of questions for you. How did you find your first year at PA? Did you get promoted fairly quickly? How big are the projects usually? What input will I have on the type of work I will do? I am from solution architecture background, will I be able to have a similar role in PA?Last but not least, How difficult is it get a MBA sponsored by PA?Thanks in advance.Milan

It would be very unlikely for PA to sponsor an MBA - I'm not sure I know of anyone in PA who's been sponsored for one. However, if after a few years you feel like you want or need an MBA you'll be in a position to judge whether or not an MBA would be a good investment for you.

Thats not true - PA have a scheme where they will sponsor you (paying half the cost) to do an MBA. From what I hear 17 people were sponsored last year. The best thing to do is to ask HR to provide details of the scheme.

Thanks anon and ML. I will contact HR for those details as you have suggested. Just a another question if anyone can answer it. What percentage of PA clinets/projects are located in london? What proportion of the work involves the public sector?

High performers in PA can put forward a business case for MBA subsidy, which usually amounts to the company paying 50% of the fees, and the other 50% coming out of your pre-tax bonus.Net result is that you get an approximately 75% subsidy of fees. Not a bad deal, in my book

Many thanks Bopper, that is very useful....By the way, the 50%, does that depend on the university, as an MBA in say INSEAD can cost up to £45,000..and MBA in Oxford is £28,000.I suppose my question is...does it matter how the MBA cost's. Will PA still sponsor 50%
