Hi,Just wanted to inquire - what would be a better choice KPMG Advisory, Accenture SIT (Systems and Integration Technology) or IBM Global Services. I am just starting out - fresh grad. And looking towards getting into the management/strategy consulting or business development line in the future. Thanks.

Has ACN BSI been renamed SIT? So the graduate website is misleading! please help. I applied to BSI too - thinking there would be transferable skills to business. But, SIT sounds like all tech, no business. How diff / easy is it to shift divisions to business/strategy from BSI/SIT once you're in accenture? and what do you have to do for that?

Actually I did mean BSI. Typo. But the work description given to me seemed very pro-tech related anyway. Start out in Financial Services and work with the tech depts. in banks as my clients.

I'd say:1. Accenture2. KPMG3. IBMbut that's coming from another grad! IBM definitely #3, 1 and 2 could be debated.

Actually, if it's strat you want to go to, then why not start in KPMG strat advisory?

yeh. That is the line I am currently taking. Though ACN has a good brand name it is essentially in IT, and I will get good exposure though limited to the IT space. While KPMG advisory may not be a strat house but it gives me some leverage in terms of experience were I to apply at a later stage i.e. post-MBA etc. into a strat house or other firms which do business development work...Does anyone see any problems with this?
