Hi,Would really appreciate any advice and guidance on this.I'm hoping to move into consulting from an analyst role in pharma market research/business intelligence but am unsure how to best to do this and if it is even possible at this stage. I've been in this current role for just over a year now. I'm unsure of how to best navigate my career from here. Would it be best to go in at entry level via a graduate scheme? My worry with this is that I'd be starting a graduate role aged 26, is the general consensus that this is too old? My other thought is to bide my time for another year or so to move as an experienced hire into a life science/pharmaceuticals practice. But then I'd be competing with people straight out of big 4/MBB who would surely hold an advantage? A bit of background: I graduated with an Masters degree in biochemistry from Cambridge in 2013 having got a first in my undergraduate degree from a Russel Group university (Sheffield). I think my undergraduate university will hold me back so have mentally ruled out MBB and the tier 2 firms sticking instead to big 4 and below. I realise I may have waffled on a little here so simply put what I am asking is: 1. Is it possible to make the move to consulting? 2. How would be the best way to go about this? Thanks!
