I am currently a Senior Manager in Deloitte with a fair chance of getting promoted to a Director level in next couple of years.... Just recently I got an offer to join as a "Managing Director" in PWC and another one from BAH as a "Principal". Wondering as what to do ? Should I leave Deloitte as it seems like promotion going to PWC or BAH but not sure about the long term....

A promotion going to BAH sure but PwC? I can't see why you would think that. I haven't worked at both but have been at clients with teams from both firms present and have seen material produced by both firms and (on the basis of that admittedly limited sample) have never seen anything to suggest PwC is better - if anything, the opposite. There's also the continuity of providing consultancy (unashamedly labelled as such) and the legacy of the Connelly years in which Deloitte was clearly the nimbler horse in the race.Opinions may differ on their relative merits but there can't be much in it either way and they probably have more in common than separates them. Both I think have an edge on the other two.

I think the poster is talking about the relative grades, not Deloitte vs PWC.

Grade wise the PwC scale goes:Associate, Snr Associate, Manager, Snr Manager, Director, Partner. Not sure where an MD sits, but it sounds director level.Would you be joining Strategy& (formally Booz and Co) or PwC? They are separated at current.

Out of interest, how is the Booz / PWC merger going? Any news about how the two are fitting together?

Depends who you ask, Bushy. How it should have played out - PRTM. Diamond - was a seamless integration and significant uplift in IP, which they can build around quickly. But the Booz acquisition seems to be, for want of a better metaphor, like a petulant teenager slightly embarrassed by its parents. As for MD grade at PwC - never heard it used in PwC circles. Acn and some others yes, but not so far from PwC.

I've worked with them since we merged with them and I'm told quite a few folks left their team. Those that stayed are happy enough, and good people to work with. At least they're all based in the same office as us now anyway...As for MD level... doesn't exist in Consulting at PwC. As said above it goes A, SA, M, SM, D, P.
