Hello allI've been reading a lot about Accenture on these forums...and it looks like ACN in England is pretty bad right now. In the states is varies. So what about ACN in other parts of this world? How about ACN in Canada? Asia? SA?

Working in ACN Singapore - Consulting workforce. One word - Terrible! Long hours. Paying lip service to "Work-life balance".

Accenture England ain't so bad. A lot of us are, belive it or not, quite happy here!Australia is a good place to be I think. I'm sure they still give bonuses for hot skills.

It's horses for courses. ACN varies widely by location (and project). UK ACN is getting better in terms of work-life balance, but of course less work done = less work can be sold = lower wages overall, and less work done = less work you can be evaluated against = less performance differentiation and reward for the more talented and hardworking staff. It sounds like Singapore is further towards the work end of the spectrum but the rate of development and opporunity for performance differentiation is also higher.

Hi I have an interview with ACN Singapore and I am interested in hearing about your experience at the firm. Can you drop me a line (summie007@gmail.com) so that we can touch base on this? Thanks!

ACN Australia is generally immature- they , like in most asia-pac offices, work you very long hours with only regular pay. Infact, unless you are a senior rainmaker, accenture pay in australia is very ordinary at best. The reason is that they will simply transfer an indian worker from their bangalore office and pay low wages instead of hiring a perm resident ion australia and paying competitive wages.Unfortunately, most of the other large consultancies operate this way too- IBM Aust, EDS Aust are the biggest culprits.
