Usually they only work on experienced hire positions, as most banks run their own grad recruitment or only use external recruiters for administration of closely planned campaigns that are marketed under the bank's name. However, towards the end of the recruiting year, banks (and other graduate recuiters) are more likely to use external recruiters to fill in odd gaps. For example Futurestep (part of Korn/Ferry) usually only do senior recruitment but I interviewed with them for a grad i-banking role a few years ago.I can't think of any banking recruiters that regularly handle grad roles but you could try agencies that get graduates into non-scheme roles in the City (Marks Sattin, etc.) as they should be familiar with what the banks are looking for and which ones are recruiting most heavily.
