Hi,I have worked in brand management at L'Oreal for 3 years now and am considering making a move to strategy consulting, but completing an MBA first. I am considering Manchester Business School....how does it rate vs. other MBA schools in the UK/Europe? Do Tier 1 strategy firms recruit from MBS?Can any MBS students tell me how they've found the alumni network?Thanks!

Its one of the most established schools in the UK, I'd rate it in the top two alongside LBS.Good luck!

internationally it is not quite there yet in terms of reputation but in real terms is very good. Finishes above some pretty strong names on the FT list. You may not be chased by the tier 1 firms but you will certainly not be ignored by them

Its a great school - I met people who before MBS had worked at McK, BCG and most of the big i-banks - these are the sort of people who can take their pick between various schools so thats a good sign for MBS.

I am curently studying for an MSc degree at MBS and can tell you that MBS is a very good school. Our newly appointed Director has a grand vision for the school and works very well with staff and students reps. Some of my frens have received job and internship offers/interviews from Goldman Sachs, BCG, JP Morgan, Khazanah Nasional, Arthur D Little, Ethos Consulting; to name a few.
