Hi there,Although I didn't even got 1 first round interview at a top strat house it looks like I will receive offers from Deloitte/Atos/ACN/KPMG/E&Y/Archstone. Some extra info:- Deloitte's offer is for their cfo consulting, not strategy. while the others offered me as much strategy as possible. - ACN came across as a IT firm that uses its consulting practice as a selling tool. Atos much better.-KPMG pays less - E&Y BAS: got the feeling they're not very strong in consulting (advisory)- Archstone???? whats their planMy questions are: 1. what's the best options? (leaving out the ''fit'' factor). especially in terms of reputation in the industry considering a move later on in my career.2. Is it easy/possible to move between these firms as a junior. in case I regret my choice. Thanks for you're advice in advance.

One thing to watch with Toilette is that, according to my sources, they're a bit of a sweatshop.

Depends, I think. I don't work very hard. But then I didn't get promoted last year either... could there be a connection?!

Some points to consider:1. I personally think Deloitte are best all round for reputation etc but they will work you very hard and have a high attrition rate.2. EY are pushing grads up very quickly on fast track promotions and most days are 9 - 6 (as opposed to 8 - 9)3. I don't think you can beat ACN as a starting block for training etc - it's a great name to have on your CV and as an analyst you are very generalist so can chose where you want to go afterwards.4. The market is so competitive if you get on some good projects the world is your oyster both in terms of industry and consulting firms.

For a start don't get hung up on the word "strategy" at a junior level. If you are not joining a top strat house working on exciting projects and suceeding in operational effectivenss / performance improvement teams is just as good. Stetgey at ACN for example isn't old school strategy as you think it. Just get involved wherever you can, make a difference and most of all make your clients remember you for the excellent work you did.
