Hi all,I saw an online offer for CV writing services. It is something I never considered doing in the past as I thought that I could do it just as well. I am now looking for a job and was wondering if it is something a lot of people do. I would be interested in finding out if any of you had ever used such services. If you have, any recommendations? I always thought these people used generic phrases and made all CVs look the same. Is it the case? Have you ever come across what looked like a "manufactured" CV?

I often see candidates' CV that are too good to be true. Come to the interview, they hardly measure up to the professional image they portray on their CV. Manufactured? I don't know, but embellished, probably.

recruiters are put down by strat consultants. CV writers are usually failed recruiters... nuff said
