I studied my MBA outside the UK across three countries. I can totally recommend this as an experience. For me, the most interesting part of my MBA was working with people from many cultures and backgrounds; and immersing myself in a foreign culture by living in a new country or three. The option of an "international" school in the UK is not the same experience. In my view it is the equivelant of studying French in a UK school versus living in France for a year. Not the same thing. In terms of brand the top international schools in Europe outside the UK are Insead, IMD. IESE, Rotterdam, Bocconi. All have exchanges to the US. Not sure about Essec....though perhaps it has good reputation in France. In terms of UK industry employer opinion MBAs are ten a penny so one from outside the UK helps to get their attention. Industry employers in other countries favour their own schools (probably won't have heard of Warwick).Consultancies look for the big brands - either the international ones listed, top US schools, or top UK schools.
