Hi All, I'm a South African, looking to come over to work in the UK in April. Ultimately I want to work in strategy consulting. I have a PG dip in enterprise mng, as well as undergrad in psych and org psych, and a diploma in teaching. I have little work experience...My question - Do I apply directly to a consultancy or do I try to get some experience in a ifferent company? what do you think?

You'll need a lot more work experience/ internships and wider interests than academia to get in to strategy consulting.

I think first and foremost, you should know why you want to do strategy consulting. What skills do you think are required by the job? Has your training/academic experience so far equipped you with the correct skill sets, and if not, how you will go about to achieve those skill sets.
