I wanted to find out if anyone here is able to provide any insight to ACN's new operating model for their consulting workforce (Operating Groups / Growth Platforms / Geographical Market). I've also heard that IBM is gradually shifting their "Business Consulting" arm into a "Smart Outsourcing" arm. Are these initiatives a coincidence or a reflection of the industry trend? Does that necessarily mean that ACN is merely trying to reposition their "Consulting" workforce to adopt more and more outsourcing work, and just trying to make it sound pretty so that their Consultants don't feel slighted?Would appreciate your opinions to this issue, esp. from ACNers in this forum.
