Can anyone offer any help with what to expect for the Accenture 2nd round recruitment for experience hire for the Supply Chain Management practice. Will be a case study/interview, further interviews. Any help would be much appreciated.

My experience was interview with hr, then with ptr during which was a simple case study.Don't expect for them to get back to you quickly though!

I am still waiting for confirmation of 2nd round assessment.Hour long case study - is it written, verbal - what type of problem? Can you expand please?Thanks

Apols - was not clear - the ptr interview lasts c1hr and the case study lasted about 10 mins in total. I was given a simple scenario to consider and then present ideas to ptr. Once that was over we got on with the interview.

I have a 2nd interview for strategy - is this different from other interviews?

Second round is the same for strategy and non-strategy, but strategy has an additional third round interview

I have had 4 interviews in 2nd round. total of 4 hours i.e 1 hour each. 1 with senior manager doing case study, 1 with HR and 2 with partners. Does anyone know how long do they take to come back? It has already been 5 working days

What grade are you aiming for? and which operating group? Seems strange having 4 interviews when on the website it states that there should be 2 (one with HR and another with ptr for case study). You should find out within 10 working days (think they ring if your successful or email if not).

M1/2 in strategy. Had the final 4th interview last monday. have'nt heard back anything yet. How long do they normally take to come back with a decision?

Still waiting for a reply.last interview 10 working days ago. Any thoughts whether rejections can be quicker and offers take long or even after more than two weeks of final stage it can still be a rejection?

MB and Tweenie did you guys recieve the final yeah or nay. Mine has been more then three weeks nothing yet. How soon/late have other people received the offer and does rejection come sooner.

PeterG, I think this must be pretty normal. By reading the threads it looks like the email sent pretty quick if the answer is now. They need to go over the approval process and tribunal I think plus last week children were on holiday so some managers/partners have not been around to finally decide.

smallboy, have they said when they will come back with a reply? - Be aware it can take weeks before you have feedback. The expected time is 10 days however it is not really realistic. HR is typical questioning with examples. Partner and case study is more like a chat to understand fit and overall experience.

Hi Tweenie,Thanks a lot for the reply. I have received an email saying it would take 10 working days to get back to me after the interview. Currently I am only worried about the interview and not the time they are gonna take to come back(ofcourse this would be the next concern I have)...Does the partner also checks out technical skills again, I mean the first interview was a technical one for me(It does have some competency questions though...) The Partner who is gonna interview me is into my own stream i.e SAP...Can I expect the technical questions also? I am looking for a position at A2 level...Thanks

I did not get any technical questions from the partner. Just overall experience, assessing the level you would fit in acn, education, informal chats on their clients and where these are based. I did not get any competency based questions. The case study was more about me talking, communicating my thinking...my interview was not in the sap area though...Good Luck!

I would be grateful if you could let me know the type of case study which you have got(if you dont mind me asking it).Was it easy? I am bit poor at analysis so worried about collecting all the figures and facts from the case study...Any help would be highly appreciated...Thanks

For me it was half a page on an imaginary company where as a consultant you have to help the client to integrate their business.
