Thanks for your responses! If its $55k inc. super, I think it may be a struggle - how long does it take to increase that, presumably yearly? Also, is there a signing on bonus? If thats the case, I guess it may mean moving back to London, although I don't want to do that yet! Leading on from that, do you think it would be any harder to get into an entry level role with more experience, say if I had 3 years rather than 2? Do you get to a point where you're getting to old to move to an entry level role?In response to Tony, its actually a lot easier than you'd think. You'd be looking at a 457 business visa. If your profession is on a list (that covers most professions) and you have a degree and a little bit of relevant experinece, you'll get it easily. Most major employers are pre-approved for sponsorship so its just a matter of them putting in the relevant papers. If you're in consulting, you'll have no issues with visa elegbility. I can't comment on actualy securing a role, but I guess the only hurdle may be that firms may look for local markets experience (only guessing so maybe someone else can advise?).I came out here for 2 weeks when I had around 9mo experience, had a number of fist round interviews, went back to the UK and had telephone interviews (at 5:30am!) and secured an offer. I came back here 3 months later and it took around 3 weeks to get the visa. Does anyone else have any further input/ideas (preferably saying I can earn more money!)?Thanks!
