Some very bright people in the technical area, I haven't had dealings following their recent acquisition in the MC marketplace.Good culture, challenging work, lots of credibility in the domain. My main concern is that they don't effectively capitalise on their acquisition and revert to being a deep technical firm again.Other firms that have an enduring requirement; PA, the consulting arms of the big SI firms (IBM, FJ, EDS, Logica, ), mainly PWC and Deloitte of the big 4, Vega etc. Plenty out there.

DV stands for Developed Vetting - an advanced form of UK security clearance for people who work in sensitive areas in government and intelligence either directly or as contractors. My comment would be to question the basic premise behind the original post. DV status is nice but that isn't a core personal skill. Many people who have had reasonable lives can get DV. Your choice of employer should be determined by more fundamental skills and interests rather than the security clearance you happen to have. In many ways. it is a minor logistical issue and no one is really to hire you for a role simply because of this status. It may be attractive where someone is trying to mobilise a team at short notice though.

I was DV cleared and lost it when I left my last employer. Its linked to having sponsorship from your firm who provided the services. For DV cleared roles you will have to apply for it again !

Deloitte, E&Y and KPMG have been.None of these out in the south west though. For that you need to look at detica and PA.
