I know it's just an informal forum but...

I think you need to provide some more details about yourself if anyone is to provide any useful pointers.I think you may also need to look at the impression you create, because harsh as it may sound your post above is neither the best advert for you or for your programme.

Steven,If you can't be bothered to write a decent post (45 words, at least 11 mistakes), how the hell can you expect anyone to take you seriously?I know the Henley programme doesn't accept students without a certain amount of experience (I am a Henley MBA grad), so depending on what positions you're applying for, it may not be a case of lack of experience.Agree with "I know..." here: I'd have a closer look at the impression created if I were you. Your post above makes me a feel a little tarnished as a Henley alumnus.

Steven are you foreign? If so, you need to brush up on your english. Borat may have got an Oscar nomination but broken english is only appreciated on the cute Polish girls who work in sandwich shops and bars these days.Alternatively you may be lazy. If so, the answer lies within your question. This site is a microcosim of the consulting world; it's full of sharp, cynical people who are hard to please simply because they can be. Your recruiters are from the same breed; you are one of thousands of hopefuls but the prestige of Henley (have been involved with them before myself - lovely drinks sessions on the lawn!) counts for nothing if you are not presenting yourself as a balanced individual. You need to consider self in terms of all of the following and more: presentation, experience, education, hunger, articulation, network, interests, current affairs, drive, skills etc..Difficult I know, but you're trying to join what is considered by many to be a top tier professional industry. Good luck.
