hi,I am currently working with Intel Corporation and my role is an internal consulting role in business & system integration space within SCM domain.I had a great career with my current employer however Ii think it is getting more monotonous and aspire for challenges across different industries. However when i tried getting into a consulting career the major hurdle I faced a year ago was my lack of consulting experience. Sounds like you have experience, through your internal consulting role. Have you tried many consultancies and what was your feedback

yes you are right it is an internal consulting role I tried with two consulting firms, one of them was Accenture and the response was that I need some industry(core function, SCM, finance) exposure....Right now i am going slow and just trying to understand the consulting opportunities better so that i can address the challenges ( entry barriers) any suggestions - I have tried the theory of wetfeet guides etc but dont see a lot of practical success in those approaches ..( may be i am wrong too )rgds - ram
