Deloitte's Pharma & Healthcare practice does lots of work with the NHS. PwC does lots of PPP/PFI work.

I'd suggest a chat with Simon Shilston from The Shilston Partnership. He doesn't supply my firm, but he does a lot of healthcare recruitment and should be able to give you some ideas. Candidates in my old firm always rated him very highly.

Agree with comments about Simon Shilston, have been a candidate through him and found him very helpfulfor info HEDRA are currently recruiting for healthcare consultants to work on the business process change part of CfH to work mainly in NE, NW, West Midlands and Easter region (regions are the same as the new SHA boundaries which guess you will work out if you're in the NHS).Perot systems are also recruiting now for Clinical Transformation Consultants, similar to the HEDRA role but just doing London. Having met with both and have 2nd interviews in next couple of days I would say that I preferred Perot, partly they seemed to be a bit more engaging at interview (most of the people there have NHS background so culturally not a huge shift for me) and they are primarily working in London and that is good for me at the moment. that said, would be more than ok working with HEDRA from what have heard so far, there is also more opportunity for non-NHS work with HEDRA (NHS is not their biggest account).Up to you but if you let me have your email am happy to have a chat with you about my experiece to date.
