What's the general view about Accenture these days? Specificially, in terms of the following when working with their government practice:1. Work-life balance2. Exit opportunities / quality of the brand on the CV3. Pay4. Internal culture / level of 'anxiety' / job security / stress5. Travel6. Quality of co-workers7. Opportunities for internal career progressionThanks in advance.

1. Work-life balance - Not great compared to Public Sector, but standard for a consultancy2. Exit opportunities / quality of the brand on the CV - Brilliant3. Pay - Good base, Bonus not so great4. Internal culture / level of 'anxiety' / job security / stress - Aggressive, safe job security5. Travel - Depends on area you work in6. Quality of co-workers - Very Good at senior end7. Opportunities for internal career progression - Very Good

Ok - here is goes1) 75% of this is down to how much you let work take over your life. This becomes more difficult when you are away from home 5 days per week - sometimes in a different country. I have never HAD to work a weekend (although I know people who have).2) Quality of the brand is unparalleled for blue-chip experience. 3) Good - can't compare it with Banking or Strat houses - but better than most4) It's up or out - but the support is, from my experience, first class and the opportunities are definitely there5) Travel .... :-) All the time bud. I'm lucky in that I work in a different country nearly every week, but travel around UK, if not abroad, is the norm6) Unparalleled7) Good - but as with point #1 - it's what you make it

I just started my induction and it seems like a good place to be. DT came and gave us a talk and seems very optimisic about the future based on some big client wins and some other chnages at the firm.I'm sure it's not all gona be great but I think it's not a bad time to join.

Travel depends both on operating group and your own preferences, to an extent.
