I joined Deloitte this year hoping to work in strategy related roles.Firstly all the new grauates were bumpd into operations this year, secondly, I have come to realise too late what a divide there is between the big four/second tier consulting positions and the big guys MBBBBasically I am wondering what I should do.1. Plug away at Deloitte - What kind of roles do you think I would have a shot at after two years Deloitte experience, hopefuly I will get moved to strategy work, but if not what kind of work would operations consulting lead to?2. Quit and reapply for MBBB- I have the oxbridge background, bagged a first and did an internship in M&A at a big IB. Only worry is it is a hih risk strategy, given that interviews are a bit pot luck3. I may have a possible chance to join a strategy boutique in the next couple of months. What kind of benefit would this have? (If any of you have heard anything about Cairneagle Associates let me know)Any advice?
