Hi All,I have graduated in 2004 and currently work for a leading IT services provider as a junior architect.I have progressed faster than expected, and the senior management has trust in me to oversee large projects, however my salary isn&apos;t anywhere near the expected salary for an application architect. I have been unofficially told that it is difficult to get a huge pay rise internally, and I would have to move externally to achieve that. Is this true for other companies too?Shall I venture out and take the risk of joining one of the competitors?

go for it, but are you a solution architect or an application architect, where i come from they are different beasts

Thanks for the encouragement. I am officially an application architect, but my medium term goal is to become a solution architect.
