Cultural fit? Started out (30 years ago) trying to be 'the most intelligent consultancy', and only recruited from select Oxbridge colleges, most work was in National Security area. This fiece intellectualism has balanced up a bit over the years, although still ~1/3 PHds, or at least v strong maths/physics/computer science or BM grads - but still possible that some offerings are too advanced for the market. That said business consulting is growing a pace, and the atmosphere is supportive, with plenty of young blood, and good things going on - workwise and socially. There is tight control on the bench/chargeability (without a massive number of nights away) - part of the reason for the performance/retention figures. But certainly worth considering for their London, Guildford, Cheltenham and increasingly US and continental base.
