Hi,I am from Telco industry (6 years) but has been in IT services since graduation (10 years). My last job is Program Manager.With a recent MBA, I am trying to move to consultancy.Being 40 years old with no experience in Consultancy, I am finding it hard to sell myself to consultancy firms. ACN did interview me though but stopped at first round.What should be my strategy and which firms do you thing might be interested in such profiles (people going from industry to consultancy at late age).Cheers

Sorry for the title "definitions", I was planning to ask for a website which helps to understand the jargons "Change management", "transformation" and so forth.

i profess to be no expert, but so far, what i have learnt from the application and interview process is...before you attend interviews at ACN or any other consultancy, make sure you understand jargon like change management - check amazon or wetfeet for some really good insider guides for both specific firms and to the industry as a whole.Other things you must do: 1.) Call the firms in question and ask to speak to consultants - be honest and sincere and you'll be surprised at the kind of response you'll receive, but be prepared - read the website and any pdfs thoroughly and construct questions2.) Visit your local bookstore or even careers advice centre and read upLots of luck
