Since graduating, I have 6 years consulting experience at one of the top brand management consultancies in London. Main experience is in delivering large programmes of national significance in the public sector (experience across the programme lifecycle). Have some significant international consulting experience and business development track record from this time too. I have an excellent academic record (As, 1st class degree, top Uni).I'm looking to move to a top strategy house (McKinsey, Bain etc).I imagine a CV dominated by public sector consulting experience might make this move difficult... Does anyone have any views on that?Has anyone made a similar transition from top 'tier 1 / 2' consulting firm to top strategy house? If so, any tips? Many thanks.
