Hi;I've come with two Educational Backgrounds ( BSc in Applied Math + MSc in Systems Engineering) and 5 years working experiences in Transportation, Petrochemical and Telecom Industries. My last two work experiences has been in Project Mgm and in a well-known multi-national Company in Telecom Sector and I've been working in managerial position for two years now. Can anyone guide me if I can join consulting activities especially in Strategy and Business Development with my current background and working experiences? I'm also a resident in MEA area, how is the chance of working as a consultant in Europe? Do I need further education like Master in European Business or MBA?Many Thanks

It doesn't sound like your experience includes strategy or business development, so it might be too large a leap to move sector, focus and geography all at once.An MBA can help make a career change, especially if you do it at a school that is well-respected in the region you want to target for jobs e.g. INSEAD for Europe.You could try applying for jobs in project management consulting with your current experience and qualifications.
