Does anyone know specific companies in the UK that deals with Healthcare and Pharma M&A and consultancy. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can give me a step to step guidance in getting into this sector bearing in mind I am a final year pharmacy student.

This is a very specialist sector. There are only 3 players worthy of mention. Bain & CoDeloitte M&A Strategy TeamPWC Strategy Group ( albeit this is less of a 'pure' consultancy as the others) If you ask about pharma in general, then its a different story. But as far as M&A advisory goes, oftentimes coming under the heading ' Commercial Due Diligence', this is the latest and greatest.

Mercer Management Consulting seems to be setting up a Pharma practice and has worked with several big players.
