Would be very thanful for the following info:1) What is the entry-level (grads) salary in PwC Strategy?2) Is there any sign-on bonus? If so how much?3) Are there any end-yer bonuses (like in IB)? If so then again, what can one expect?

Come on Guys... I'm sure there are many PwCers here... just an idea what the figures are. Doesn't have to be exact amount. Thanks!

I didn't ask HR this. I have 1st round so would look stupid asking for salary now. And anyway I bet they have fixed pay for grads. I'm curious as I can join IB (36k + 5k sign-on + ??30-50% bonus??) however my STRONG PREFERENCE is towars PwC Strategy. And I just wonder how much lower it's gonna be.

Thanks Tim. Re your question: IDB (M&A).Anyone knows anything about the bonus? Is it in any way comprable to IB or we're speaking about 5-10% instead of 30-50%...?

I think it's safe to say you would make considerably more in banking.

Yep - I'm aware of this. But IB is not really what I wanna do. PwC Strat is somewhere between IB and pure strategy, what suits me a lot. But I'm thinking also how much I'm going to lose (should I be accepted by PwC) compared to IB. I guess the key difference is going to be the bonus...

Well I'm just starting out in all this so only have to go on what I read and hear. From what i gather banking salaries are never that much higher than consulting ones; it's the bonuses that make up the massive pay packets in banking. I read that sometimes IB salary makes up as little as 20% of the annual pay).Have you thought about Deloitte's Strat practice?

The only consultancy where I have known pay to compete remotely with ibanking is Mercer Oliver Wyman. Even then it's middle of the road. Relative to the ease of getting a job at MOW vs. ibanking, you're better off going directly into ibanking.
